This angel is as one with you
there with you as you sleep
Feel the stroke of her light touch
no longer shall you weep

Not just when in slumber deep
she's there both night and day
Gently soothing those tears and woes
and protecting you come what may

She feels your pain and all your hurt
that's buried deep inside
Knowing just when you need her most
from her you need not hide

As you curl up there so taught and tight
she'll be there to ease whatever's ailing
Brushing away deep furrows of worry
making your journey smooth sailing

A friend you know she will always be
she will keep you close to the heart
Never fear that she's not there for you
you'll never be far apart

Should you ever feel like running
or should panic ever set in
Remember you're in your angel's arms
light of day will now begin
