So glad that you can join me ... let me be your host
It's such a BOOtiful day ... to be out and about
My favorite time of year ... without any doubt

The leaves are all clinkly ... under little tiny feet
I'm floating overhead ... watching you there on the street
As you start your little escapades ... having so much fun!
This halloween night ... for you has just begun

I am always watching ... as you go from door to door
Knocking at the neighbors ... in hopes to get much more
Of all those yummy goodies ... your eyes light up with glee
As you check out all you've gathered ... I hear a loud "Whoopee!"

Should you see me flying overhead ... and I won't be far above
Give a great big wave ... and I'll send you lots of love
Remember when you see me ... that I'm your friendly ghost
For this night I spend with you my friends ... for you I care the most

Don't worry about those other ghosts ... for when they see me come
You'll see them fade for cover ...  they'll be looking pretty glum
For they know I'm good and kind ... and that you are all my friends
This just sends them fleeing ... and for now our story ends
