Are all the scaries out tonight?
is something following me?
I turned around to check it out
it was quiet as can be
Moving on I shrugged it off
but, again I heard that sound
suddenly a cat jumped in my path
should I turn around?
I didn't know what to do
looking up, I gave a sigh
the moon was full, it shone so bright
a very spooky kind of sky
Walking on past the cemetery
my heart began to pound
you know about cemetries
there's creepy things to be found
Now I'm shaking ... oh so scared
a ghoul appears in front of me
bat-like things swooping everywhere
making it difficult to see
The big fat moon shone so bright
I could see it through the mist and clouds
and ghosts were in the distance
dressed in their long white shrouds
I started to run ... I tripped and fell
they're catching up to me
but quickly I managed to get myself up
and hid behind a big old tree
Just as I thought that I was safe
I noticed them closing in
with a blood curdling shriek
I let out a scream, making an awful din
The bony hand now grabbed my arm
I yelled for it leave me alone
"I don't mean you any harm" I said
I just want to go home
"You ARE home safe and sound"
I hear my Mother say
you've been dreaming my dear child
and it's now another day
SO
When you go out to "TRICK or TREAT!"
don't wander far from home
have FUN and all the laughs to be had
BUT, make sure you're not alone
